About me

Hi there!

I’m Kayli, I am a wife, a Colorado native, and a graduate of Kansas State University. I have my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science Pre-Nursing. I am a DONA International Certified Birth Doula who offers various services. I have also completed my Breastfeeding Counselor Certification and am working to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I am here to offer my services to the families of Fort Collins, Loveland, and the surrounding areas. I have experience with hospitals, birthing centers, and home birth settings. I also have experience with twin vaginal birth.

I believe my role as a doula is that of an educator, nurturer, and advocate. I want to be your teammate as you go on your pregnancy and birth journey. I am here to answer questions and point you toward resources as you prepare to welcome your baby into the world. During the laboring process, I am there to nurture you. I provide physical support through body positioning, massage, and breathing techniques. If needed, I am also your advocate. I will remind you of your choices and birth plans in difficult and stressful situations so that you can be fully informed every step of the way. I am not a medical care provider, so I will not perform any clinical tasks such as fetal monitoring or vaginal exams. I am independent and self-employed. As your doula, I am working for you, not for your caregiver or a hospital.

I am very invested in my clients' births and will work with them to research evidence-based solutions to any challenges that may come up. I am passionate about birth and enter each labor full of excitement for the family.

I believe that children are blessings and that all people are made in God's image. Birth teaches women to trust the Lord amid discomfort and prepares them for the challenges of motherhood. I believe birth is both a biological and sacred event that should be held with great humility and care.

When I’m not in the birth world, my husband and I enjoy spending time in God’s creation. We like to hike, backpack, ride horses, and picnic. Most days start with a run and end with a walk.
