Birth Doula

I believe a birth doula is an educator, a nurturer, and an advocate. I will educate you before and during birth, helping to provide any necessary resources. During the laboring process, I am there to nurture you. I provide physical support through body positioning, massage, and breathing techniques. Should you need it, I will also be there as an advocate to remind you of your birth preferences.

Childbirth Classes

This four-part private class covers topics from pregnancy through postpartum. It is a private, in-person class for you and your support person. We cover the physiology of birth, common interventions, comfort measures, and breastfeeding. These classes provide more detail than I can cover during prenatal visits if I were your doula. Additional C-section, Induction, and Newborn Care classes can be added for $45 each.

Cost: $200

Breastfeeding Class

Breastfeeding is natural, but that does not mean it’s instinctive. My job is to set you up for success so you can confidently start your breastfeeding journey with a toolbox of skills. This three-part private class covers the physiology of breastfeeding, why breastfeeding matters, how to get a good latch, and how to work through any challenges.

Cost: $150

Lactation Support

I am a certified breastfeeding counselor and would love to help you nurture your baby at the breast. I will listen to how you are feeling, watch your baby feed, and offer suggestions and resources for any discomfort or struggles. The first few days are crucial in establishing supply, learning how to latch, and developing a secure attachment. For this reason, I can meet you within 48 hours of the birth of your baby to provide care. I will meet you at your home for any following sessions so you don’t have to worry about taking your newborn anywhere.

Cost: $45 a session or $120 for three sessions.
