Kate Olson (Mother)

Kayli demonstrated genuine interest and excitement when we had prenatal meetings. She asked helpful questions and listened well, which was extremely important to me as I had experienced a challenging birth with my first child and had chosen to have a doula this time in hopes of a different outcome. During labor, Kayli made sure I kept my energy and hydration up, provided wonderful verbal encouragement, and suggested different positions and movements to keep labor going and ease discomfort. We truly feel that having a doula was an integral part of experiencing positive and empowering labor and delivery for our second child!

Dixon Olson (Father)

Kayli did a great job, she was knowledgeable, kind, and cared about us having a good birth . This was our first time using a doula and we are convinced on using one with Kate's subsequent births. Kayli and I were able to work together as a team towards what was most important to Kate. My favorite thing about having a doula was that Kate was never alone.

"Kayli was called into a whirlwind of a birth, and stepped right in to help without missing a beat. Her comforting voice and touch were an immediate calm to me. It really does feel like Kayli’s been doing this for ages, so much of what’s needed for support in labor and birth comes so naturally to her. Kayli helped talk me through contractions, massage, helped my husband know how to help, kept me hydrated and energized, took photos we’ve cherished, she did it all! Can’t recommend her enough."

Kayli completely changed my perspective on the value of having a doula during the birth process. Before labor, it was incredibly helpful to review birthing positions and pain management strategies with her. During active labor, her calm and forward-thinking presence allowed my husband and me to be more focused and present. She was continuously attentive, reminding me to stay hydrated, offering counter pressure, and suggested positions to help manage the pain. Kayli is a natural caretaker, providing constant support and reminders that the baby at the end is worth it!

Kayli was exceptional during my wife’s second birth. As our needs evolved from the first experience, she adapted seamlessly to the situation. She empowered me to take on as much of the physical support as I felt comfortable with. Most importantly, Kayli brought a prayerful and spiritually grounded presence that provided a calming and reassuring atmosphere throughout the experience.

Kayli was great to have as a doula! Ahead of time, she provided education and informational resources so that my husband and I could make informed decisions that were best for us. During my labor and delivery, she was a great advocate and support for both of us, guiding us through the process and giving us the tools we needed for a successful unmedicated birth. Her knowledge, support, and encouragement helped me feel as prepared as possible as a first time mom. She was a huge part of making the birth of our son a positive experience!

I am beyond grateful to have had Kayli by my side during the birth of our twin boys. Though this was my third pregnancy, Kayli helped me feel a renewed sense of empowerment and knowledge about birth. Kayli didn’t just bring knowledge and experience—she brought a profound understanding of birth as part of God's design, empowering me to trust in my body’s ability and to make decisions rooted in faith. And, praise the Lord, my birth plan was able to be executed beyond what I could have imagined.

Though we ended up going in for a scheduled induction at 35weeks - I felt supported by Kayli every step of the way leading up to it. When the asks of doctors and the rush of decisions seemed to create urgency, Kayli’s coaching ahead of this, gave me the confidence to ask for a few minutes to think about it, ensuring that every choice was made with intention.

During the plentiful hours of labor, the extra hands of Kayli, in addition to my husband, made all the difference. They worked together for hours, walking with me and applying counter pressure as the contractions grew stronger. Their teamwork meant that no one’s hands got tired, and the constant support was everything to me. Their presence and coordination helped me stay grounded and comfortable during the most intense moments of labor.

Given the risks involved in a twin delivery, I was prepared to deliver in an OR room, just in case of complications. When we arrived in the bright, cold, sterile room, I felt a wave of fear and discomfort wash over me. In the short and blurred moments between births, Kayli made sure to ask the doctors to allow me to hold my baby before he was wheeled away. That brief pause gave me the strength to deliver our second just 14 minutes later. Kayli knew exactly when to step in with the right kind of support, and that moment perfectly reflected her intuition and heart.

After the births, when I experienced mild hemorrhaging and my husband was with the babies in the NICU, Kayli stayed by my side. The room was full of rushing doctors, poking me and moving me, and the situation felt overwhelming. But Kayli remained calm and compassionate, reassuring me with a smile and reminding me of my strength. She encouraged me to breathe, just as we had practiced, and helped me stay centered through a moment of vulnerability.

What truly sets Kayli apart is her unwavering heart of service, empathy, and respect—for both mothers and babies. It’s not just about the birth; it’s about the care she offers at every step of the journey into motherhood. Her compassion shines through in all of our interactions, long after the birth. Kayli is a true gift.

If you’re looking for a doula who will support you with wisdom, kindness, and faith, Kayli is the perfect person for the role I am forever grateful for the role she played in bringing our babies into the world, and I know she will offer the same extraordinary support to every family lucky enough to have her.
